Countries of the World & Black Swan Green

I’ve just put the finishing touches to the typeset PDF I received from England last week. Hopefully the next update will be the one to tell you that Countries of the World is available. Look out for a new extract later this week to keep you going in the meantime.

Incidentally, I’ve just started reading Black Swan Green by David Mitchell. This is a novel I deliberately avoided reading while working on Countries of the World. I was aware that it contained Falklands War content from the mind of a 13-year-old – and Mitchell and I were the same age in 1982. I suppose we still are. Not too surprisingly, I’m coming across a few shared cultural references but, I am enjoying that book so far. However, I won’t be entertaining any claims of plagiarism since this is the first time I’ve ever read any David Mitchell. Honest!

Countries of the World on Amazon. Available in paperback and for Kindle (only £1.86).
